Aliens vs Predator Special Editions

Sega Australia has released information about upcoming special editions after the game was granted MA15+ classification after an appeal last week.

Australians can rejoice, Aliens vs Predator has been granted MA15+ classification (the maxium classification level) after an appeal by SEGA. The game will not be cut back in anyway from the international version so will include full gore.

To celebrate this occasion Sega have announced a three editions of the game hitting the Australian retail sector. Although it’s possible that these versions will be available in other regions there has been no confirmation outside of Australia yet.

“On the back of the successful appeal last Friday we are delighted to confirm that beyond the standard edition for the game, we will be delivering two Special Editions – Survivor and Hunter”, said Darren Macbeth, Managing Director SEGA Australia. “The team at Rebellion have been true to the Aliens and Predator universes and created a title that allows gamers to experience first-hand all the thrill, tension and excitement of the Aliens and Predator movies.”
