Sims 3 sells 3.7 million
EA has release it’s quarterly figures and explains how well Sims 3 sold everywhere. Their figures also detail some fairly dismal performances from most platforms.

EA have announced that The Sims 3 has sold 3.7 million copies with almost 60% of those sales coming from outside North America indicating a strong global PC presence.
This represents a figure roughly 25% better than The Sims 2.
Not all news was good for EA though, the company suffered a Net Loss of $244,000,000 in the quarter Nearly three times more than the same time last year.
The individual platforms also didn’t perform very well with only the DS and Wii increasing their Net Revenues on the previous year.
